As an avowed Anglophile, the Oxford Tearoom mystery series is as irresistible as one of the delectable scones sold at Gemma’s Little Stables Tearoom.

Review: A SCONE TO DIE FOR by H. Y. Hanna (Oxford Tearoom Mystery #1)
A deliciously toasty English cozy which kept me salivating throughout, A SCONE TO DIE FOR is the first entry in a promising new cozy mystery series set in Oxford and surrounds by H. Y. Hanna, author of the lovely Big Dog Mysteries. Gamma Rose, twenty-nine, a First graduate at Oxford and daughter of a professor, has set aside a stultifying corporate career in Sydney to open a village teahouse, a "proper English" Tearoom, outside Oxford. All is well until the arrival of an obnoxious American who spouts amazing familiarity with Oxford, both town and university, and proceeds to trouble village residents. The next morning, he is dead outside the Tearoom, literally stuffed with a scone. Readers will delight in both the story and its scrumptious cuisine!
